Dragon OTT Release: Final Box Office Collection Of Pradeep Ranganathan Starrer As It Premieres On Netflix

By February 23, Tamil screenings recorded a 70.29 percent occupancy rate, similarly high in attendance particularly during afternoon and evening shows. 


As at March 4, 2025, 'Dragon' recorded a domestic total of73 crore, with international earnings pushing its worldwide gross to over ₹115 crore, making it the second-highest-grossing Tamil film for the year. . Latest reports say the earnings for the film have continued to skyrocket, grossing over ₹125 crore at the global box office, further cementing the title of a blockbuster. 


Plot and Cast

'Dragon' is about D. Raghavan played by Pradeep Ranganathan, a person who holds a high-paying job despite not having a degree from college. His world comes crashing down when he realizes that his fraud is about to come out, where he is forced to go back to college to complete his old pending backlog. This non-preventable situation leads to many obstacles and unexpected twists to make this an interesting experience. 


Featured in the film are Anupama Parameswaran, Keerthi; Kayadu Lohar; VJ Siddhu; Mysskin; K.S. Ravikumar; Gautham Vasudev Menon; and George Maryan among others. Each of the actors makes the film even more watchable by rendering depth to their respective characters.


Direction and Production


This is the second film directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for earlier "Oh My Kadavule". The film is produced by AGS Entertainment, which has established a good reputation for itself in producing quality cinema. The crew consists of Leon James as the music composer, cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, and editor Pradeep E. Ragav. Their combined efforts have significantly elevated the production quality of the film such that it has become a feast for the eyes and the ears for the audience.
